Chachmei Lublin

A scale model made by Conrad Schick was exhibited at the Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva in Poland, but was destroyed during the World War II.

The Yeshiva, one of the most important in Europe, was taken by the Nazi’s 1939 and later destroyed.

Lublin was important for Jewish life in Europe and sometimes called the Jewish Oxford or the Polish Jerusalem because it’s old tradition as a center of learning.
