Schick wrote constantly articles in the two main European Magazines that dealt with Archaeology in Palestine, the English PEQ published in London and the German ZDPV published in Leipzig, parts publized open on the Internet.

From the first number of the German magazine, Schick wrote the first article in a number of publications, Communication from Jerusalem (Mittheilungen aus Jerusalem). In the first number he writes about a newly discovered grave made by Stone 1879.

He also wrote articles for the NNM (Neueste Nachrichten aus dem Morgenlande), mainly about places, mosques and churches in Palestine.

He also wrote articles for the OMO (Oestereichische Monatsschrift für den Orient) about farming and colonisation in Palestine.

Five years before his death Schick wrote the book “Die Stiftshütte, der Tempel in Jerusalem, und der Tempelplatz der Jetztzeit”. 240 pages printed in Berlin 1896 by Wiedmansche Buchhandlung.

The famous photographer Lewi Larsson, member of the American Colony in Jerusalem, took photos of Schick’s models that were published in a book about 1900.
