The well known Swedish theologian and prominent church leader of the free church movement P P Waldenström made 1894-95 a long jurney in the Middle East and wrote 1895 the book Till Österland, published only in Swedish. From his visit of Jerusalem he also mention his meeting with the German architect Conrad Schick (p 396). He also comment on the discusion about where Christ was crusified; Gordons Golgatha or the Holy Sepulcre and then takes Schick’s, and the Catholic’s view, that the Holy Sepulcre is the right place. Schick had previusly found that the HS at that time was outside the city wall.
